7 Definite Don’ts of Hair Care.
February 20, 2012 by Malathy Badri
I am not open for debate after I say that hair is the most appealing part in a woman. Hair attracts at the first glance. Even a cursory glance on a woman with lustrous and voluminous hair would make you remember her for long.
The money spent by women worldwide on hair care products annually is a definite indication that most will go to any lengths to achieve their desired look. That is why professional salon owners and freelance beauticians say that hair care is a big business.
The face, skin, eyes and other parts of the woman come next only to hair. Hair care is science and an art but you would learn it only when you have enviable hair. I am not speaking about hair style; I am speaking about the hair as such.
One can try different hair style provided one is happy about the nature of the hair.

Seven mistakes you should avoid
For a change, I am not going to recommend on any hair care products but would touch ten mistakes you should avoid in a good hair care goal.
- Again I may be disputed but let me say it as a fact. Do not straighten your hair with a clothes iron. It is old fashioned.
- Do not use clarifying shampoo on your tresses more than once in 15 days. They can make your hair to shed its natural moisture.
- Don’t try to become a barber at your home. Seek professional help to cut your hair.
- Visit a beauty parlor only if it is recommended by someone you know.
- Buy hair care products such as hair color, clarifying shampoo, curlers, gels etc only from authentic beauty salons.
- Sun is not a big friend of your hair and so too the common salt. Don’t expose your hair too much on both these natural elements.
- Never use hair brush on wet hair.
I welcome you to suggest any tried and tested tips on hair care.
