Powder Eye Shadow Makeup Tips

Without an eye shadow, no makeup application is complete-right? Every woman below 60 years wants to have eyes that appear bigger with the help of eye shadow. How about knowing about a few tips for eye shadow application?
Before you shop for eye shadows, you should pick up some knowledge about various eye shades. Then, don’t go about applying a full block of eye shadow on your eyelids. It will look amateurish. Professional beauticians advise on applying in two stages.
How to test the color of eye shadow?
The eye shadow color on the makeup box might be different when you actually apply it on your eye lids. Therefore, first apply a small portion on the back of your wrist to check whether you really like the eye shadow color.
Then, apply lightly the eye shadow on your eyelids close to the lashes. Have a look at the mirror. If you have done a good job, then darken it further while moving upwards. Always use a large and flat brush so that the shades are nicely blended.
I have seen beauticians use a wet brush while applying eye shadow. It is a wise move because the eye shadow is in powder form. First, dampen the large brush so that it is easy and less clumsy to decorate your eye lids with eye shadow.
Important tip for eyelids coloring:
Never apply facial makeup such as rouge or powder before applying eye shadow because you are more likely to spill some of the eye shadow on your face. After all, the area of eye makeup is small.
